Yueer Zhou (周玥儿)

I'm an undergraduate student at Zhejiang University, majoring in Computer Science and Technology, where I rank first with a GPA of 94.73/100. I am expected to graduate in June 2026.

I'm working closely with Prof. Andrea Zanette and Fahim Tajwar at CMU, exploring LLM generation and reinforcement learning. I also had the pleasure of collaborating with Yue Wang and Jiageng Mao at USC Viterbi GVL Lab on research involving VLA models. At Zhejiang University, I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Ying Wei and Yichen Wu, with topic on Continual Learning and Low-rank Adaptation.

🧐 Research

My research focuses on developing adaptive and self-improving foundation models/agents across language, multimodal, and VLA settings. I study stable and efficient model adaptation, ranging from continual learning, model merging, to reinforcement learning strategies, aiming to enable models that can reliably acquire new abilities, generalize across tasks, and refine their behavior in dynamic environments.

Hobbies

Outside of coursework, I enjoy virtual singers and illustrations. I occasionally write songs and draw illustrations as personal creative projects, which naturally makes me interested in the development of multimodal generative models and their applications in creative media.
